Xicomm(XMS)

The client

Xicomm is an international voice carrier. Xicomm is interconnected with more than 180+ carriers throughout the world, terminating over 5 Million minutes of international voice traffic to various destinations on a daily basis. Xicomm has become among the industry leaders in Africa, Middle East, Europe and south and pacific Asia, offering exceptional services and price in those regions as well as the rest of the world.

Project description

The XMS is designed as a web application for the internal processes of Xicomm Company (inter-departmental) including several modules, Ticket sharing management for the support team, visualization of company data as an interactive graph for data analysts, routing request modules, routing testing, contracts management for sales team communication, quality assessment, support, and some other modules to create a platform for communication between individuals and departments of the company. The importance of this system is that the sales team and some of the company’s top managers live in different countries. Therefore, needs assessment and accurate implementation of requirements are of great importance.

Xicomm was looking for a technical partner with broad tech expertise along with the in-house team to Revamp the main web solution. Our engineers joined the team to build reliable and extendable custom software, entrusted to make all crucial architecture and tool choices as well as execute them.

Process

At the beginning of this project, several meetings were held. And the vision of the project requirements were examined. Then, for the project requirements, we formed the front-end infrastructure using angular. Therefore, as Xicomm’s partner, we were in constant contact with the in house team and helped each other. So we developed a small part of the project and demonstrated the software, which was approved. After establishing the front-end and approval of the stakeholders, we started other activities.

Domain experts analyzed requirements. And we analyzed and prioritized the analytical documents in meetings, from which features with higher priority were selected for design and implementation according to the capacity of the team.

Then each feature was designed and implemented. Before the implementation, the result of the design was discussed with the representative of the stakeholders, and he announced his point of views on the design, and if the design was approved, the feature would be implemented.

When an MVP is completed, the relevant version will be built and published, and end-users will use its features. And in case of observation or error report, the defect was corrected as soon as possible.

Results
Thanks to our highly scalable approach, Xicomm was able to expand its services offering and global reach, now interconnected with more than 180+ carriers throughout the world, terminating over 5 Million minutes of international voice traffic to various destinations on a daily basis.

 

Today, we continue to support them, Engaged in a long-term collaboration, Greensoft’s team continues to develop additional functionality for the client and fine-tune the product based on the users’ feedback.
